will a usb atmega 256 work with a no rsa on a 2700?

Yes, no problem. You will even be able to use the eprom.bin provided with the software if you go with NoRSA.

I'm thinking of getting a USB 256 Atmega, I used a private key set when I was testing with Atmega 128. How complicated id it to use the same key set with the new USB 256. I do not really want to have to jtag the receiver again...

Jtag'ing is super simple, but yes, you can use the same private key set with the USB atmega256 that you used for your atmega128.

Thanks for the advice...I agree that jtagging is easy by why go through the bother if you don't have to. I'll stick with my private keyset therefore. Again..many thanks.

I can only get my USB atmega to work on my 2800 dishnet with public info . I have tried several times to get it to work on my 2700 Bell with public info and all I get is a Blank screen. I have followed the set-up instrutions and used the bin provided. Any help will be appreciated. Ron
