102 reprogram

:cool: i have a 301 ird w 102 card it was working like 3 monts a go but the guy the useto reprogram my card move to other state, can i reprogram the card witout doing something to the box?, or i just need to reprogram the card, and wich file do i need?

Easiest thing to do is call or email him and find out what he was using. You will need he password to unlock the card first.

Once that's done, purchase an ISO programmer and RC here and you're good to go. Check the newbie FAQ here and it will explain just how and what you need.

My first thing to try would be a password D2C file - or a password VXB file. I have seen both types floating around. Depending on the guy programming your card - he or she might have been using a common password. Worth a shot before a glitch. You can find those files if you look around (sorry I do not know if they are posted in this forum's file section but chances are good they are).

If you are able to get the password - then when you unlock the card - make sure to read it and save it - that will give you the info without doing anything to the box.
