I programed my 128 wi th 258 twisted c)ister from the file section and I may have fried it. I cannot get back into my atmega. Is it trash or is it possible to re set it. The price of testing? Anyway that program will not work on a 128 card. lo

Pretty hard to fry an atmega. Try virginizing it.
If that fails, I've actually "glitched" my way back into mine. While jeepers was trying to read, I disconnected and reconnected power to the programmer a few times quickly and got it to read. Try this at your own risk, i might have got lucky there....

It says the file is only for 256's..
Try to virginizing it.

wow i guess reading is the last thing anyone does anymore. go into the files section and download the file to restore the atmega to its virginized state. it has to files and text file with instructions to be used with jeepers..
it is in the file section, i just dont' know the exact name.
Do alternate chip erase serveral times if you want, i would rather get the files first and try them out though, it saved me many times.

The jumper mod, sometimes works to restore, sometimes doesn't. I can't stress how much you NEED TO READ FIRST...then start tinkering.

If you can read your fuses please do and report back here. my theory is that if the fuses are C0 ** ** ** If you get other fuses without the C0 in the first then you can revive it. thats just my theory.

If yours is the HUMexico 256 (18.432) then the new fix is out for them.

Do a search. What your looking to do is actually short out two points on the board. I've seen it around though. There is one for the 10 pin as well and it works like a champ.

The Link for what pins is right there in my post. This is why you get in trouble.. have to READ.
You don't have to do it the way pictured with a jumper. i added that. You can use a piece of wire and jumper the 2 points. Then alt erase 3x (w/ jumper) , Then regular erase 3x with jumper. Then remove jumper and try to program.

It'd be difficult for him to read, considering he can't spell wasted correctly!

team lexus only supports the 256 now, so don't hold your breath. After a while everyone runs after the money, hell wouldn't you?

The image and the contact locations solved my problem with my jumperless atmega. My atmega was the same color and type as posted in the image. I read a number of post stating the contact points but your image was the first that actually made a difference in med solving my problem. Keep up the great responses and support. Thanks Pswine!

I can update that for you, unless you are just part of the Bash anything that is not USBAtmega crew..
Lexus support is GONE. WiCKED is GONE. Phoenix is presumed GONE.
Only Atmega (Legacy 128/256) support is from the community. Please start your own thread for bashing something you don't / can't / won't understand.

This is the jump points for a locked atmega. # 7 works great but try them all to see what works for your card.

Dunno' the topic was 'waisted' and perhaps it was static electricity from wearing it hooked to his belt??
Cheap joke and frankly the N2 is nearing it's end of Life............ARRGGGGHH!
