I am considering the Amteg USB 256. Can anyone tell me if it is currently up and running freeze free with PPV and Premium channels? :rolleyes:
There is still a minor freezing issue with provider 0106 channels, but it's pretty minor.

Is there a how to program the Atmega 256? I'm getting a nag "can't load MFC71.DLL" ? Not sure what i'm doing wrong!!

Haven't heard of that one before. Try a search for MFC71.DLL. Maybe there are some support files out there for the USB atmega256. I'm assuming the software won't even open up and run for you. Past that, it's all pretty self explanatory and the instructions are right there in the software. Oh, you did install the drivers correct?

Ya, for some reason i can't get the software to open for me?
What exact operating system are you using? What service packs if any?

o.k. i got it to open. some firewall or something my wife had going!!! Can i use the same # as the atmega 128? do i have to manualy put them in. I put the IRD in but the cam ID didn't seem to fit?
You need to prepare a married BIN with tiers in it then write it to your card. That is all. If you look there is a step by step inside the program.
