coolsat 5000 fix??

Does anyone know i there is a fix for the coolsat 5000 yet? I read somewhere that the coolsat 4000, 5000, and 6000 are being discountinue. Does that mean that the support for these receivers will be no more?? Does this mean I need to get new reciever??

The company made its bread and butter from the 4k, 5k, & 6k. Do you think they would be abandoning their clientelle. No way on earth!!!! They discountinued those boxes because of all the clone boxes out there!!!! As for support, everyone is down other than nFusion with their IKS!!! However the coders are tired of temp patches that is why its taking longer to come up with a permanent solution. So hold on to that 5000 as it will be up again shortly!!!!

Hi there
From what i see here i am still using the 158 file and have local channels....no pay in the 500's or the 300's
But i do get 2-3 pay movies channels in the higher channels
This is DN only not Bev..............
The system went black screen for a bit i took the autoroll off and my channels came back in...then i put the autoroll back on and have been up ever since. That was a week ago?

ok i knoe that the other coolsat model are up on dev and dick full i.e cs61k to cs81k just cs 4k too 6 k are down on bev and get some dick lol
and i quote "remember there are no more originals of this brand" by NORW group them selfes so i think that they are nt going to be fixes enless its all down like last time im staying away from coolsat because of this and think evry one else should too i understand that freetech isint making money off the 4k to 6k series anymore and evrything left in stores are clones but i bought a real cs6k last year and they stoped making them 2 months l8ter with out notice so im a litle pissed so f**k coolsats im going viewsat next box i suggest the 9100 ;)
