USBAtmega256Version3.04beta

-very beta fix for Dish
-proof of concept that a lookup table is not required.
-proof of concept that statistical methods work

I didn't have time to add the brute-force algorithm to prevent
freezing for now. Will do this on the later release, but it does work.

It will be seamless video when I add the brute-force algorithm.

This guy is fuckign amazing. Comes up with solutions to impossible problems time and again. FTA coders are still in the dark and the USB Atmega256 cards are working. WHat is amazing is that FTA has the numerous coders who are being paid a lot of money working on fixes full time while this dude part time churns out these fixes as if they were a Satruday night cross word puzzle before going to bed. Scary.

I'm amazed too. Given the fact that the same basics apply, it's gotta make ya wonder if these FTA guys are worth the big bucks that we assume they get. At least one of them, Captiveworks, seems to get the fixes out pretty fast, but they go down just as fast. But I guess the 256 USB does that, too.

See now, that's the difference that will likely become evident in the next few days. Fab5 is coding so that the USB atmega256 won't continue to go down with all these timing changes. Fab5 is coding for what we haven't even seen yet. The FTA guys are coding in response only. Expect the USB atmega256 to start surviving while the FTA's continue to go down; at least this is how it will happen with certain types of ECM's.

I am on your side, JT. I really don't care who gets the full emulation first as long as someone does. Yes, I have a FTA, but I also have a 2700, a 3100, a 3500, rom 102's (looped and not), rom 3s, r0m 10s,atmegas, magic cards, green things, orange things, blue things and that other big thing that I used to stick in my 2700s, 3100s, 3500s and anything else that it would fit. All this shit worked at one time, but not anymore. Whoever gets the big fix....Fab5, or whoever, is my hero.

Mili!!!

Damned this thread just convinced me to spring the $100 for the USB. Just have to send out a money order. Nothing like a back up or for that matter, being back up!
I'd spring for the rom 102...more money, best bet. This is what we have to copy.

To each our own Gary. One thing for sure, the Atmega cannot be looped!
Good point.
