mikobu vortex pro 6.3 help??

hi! im having a real hard time with a rev 2c7 the thing just wont pop or loop no matter what i try, blue nexus tried all switches and pot settings delays scripts leave it for 9 hours running still good no pop or loop heck im almost to jumping the dawm thing with my booster cable and my truck!! lol

no seriously i bought this mikobu but didnt came with the clamps and pots for stubborn card i wanted to know if anybody has a picture of where on the unlocker should i fit the pot on the unlocker board thers 2 single jumper pins with near 2 inches in between them

could that be the spot??

The 2 pins inside the vortex pro you mentioned is were you connect your pot .The original was shipped with alligator clips on those pins do not short the pins together it will fry your vortex .

I also just recently got a Mikobu Vortex Pro, and it didnt come with leads or clips or pots or an input for a 9V input.....

Yet i pait for it all.... Where did you order yours from???

Okay here is my situation...

Iv got a MVP. And I can flash it, with the jumper on, I cant flash it with the jumper off. So we know that works. Iv been able to flash it with newd13 and newdrs. The scripts recognize wether it is properly flashed. So I know that works. How ever....

When I put a card into the slot the light beside the jumper does not come on, it does not read the card I keep getting "No ATR" or "Car Not Present".

My MVP has no power supply input and no leads,

What is wrong with my machine? What am I doing wrong?

also card may be very looped..
PS. mvp doesnt read cards its a unlocker only..

DvD-I have used my mik vortex pro as a reader & writer as well as unlocker.
Flashed with newdrs,it works mint using N2edit 2.58...

I use the mouse port for power, as I use a usb mouse.

Iv used my ISO reader to read the card I get an ATR with my iso reader/writer.

i have tried a lot of possibilities with mikobu and blue nexus
still wont open or loop tried also a diff ps at 800ma instead of 300

could it be because no script will actualy work on a 2c7?
i have to edit every script to make it work but it sees the card as a rev 227 to work??

Same problem as Hotwire. 10B shows ATR and rev in iso reader yet not present, etc in MVP. Tried different script than the Rebel, which I want to use, and it runs and runs but with Rebel I get not present every time. Using seperate 9v power. The MVP has popped several other rev cards in past. NDRS flashed. Any help appreciated.

Card was read in a Nexus iso pgmr. not the MVP. Have checked my winex settings as best as I can, don't see any problem. Was not aware of using 7.5 volts, thanks for that. I am pretty certain it is a genuine MVP. Bought about a year ago. Don't understand why ONLY rebel's scripts are giving me a prob.

No scripts are working for me, the scripts recognize that its properly flashed with either ndrs or newd13.

The power light comes on, but the little light beside the jumper does not come on at all.

Iv tried winex and a few other of the unlocking softwares. but none of them are able to get an ATR.

Thinking DVD was exactly right. Belive my MVP is fried. Cannot flash = 'stopped on failure\expected 00 found 11 ' or bc or anything except correct. Guess I need a new one. Trying a rebel for my older orange nexus - which works fine w\rebel - here's hopin'. Sounds like maybe hotwire's prob also my lil' light also failed to light up.....good luck.

I can flash it no problem, that much of it works just fine. I just cant glitch with it.

hey dvd ! thx for the heads up! but i was wondering if you could give me a hint on where to modify the xvb?
when i start lets say the b5 xvb it sees the right rev 2c7 but stops as if it doesnt support this rev so i edit this section:

T4 = "000"
so that way the card is seen as a rev 227 then the script starts working
could you show me how to not chage these so the rev is shown ok but change something else so that it starts on 2c7??

I wish I could get that far. Can some one make a how to : MVP . Iv tried following the steps, but I cant for 100% say that Im doing everything right. Im a little lost with the configuration of winex, but Im getting the same results when I try nagra master.

hey DVD! youre talking about a script called rebelsurf modded 2c7 script ive checked the file section and other sites but couldnt find it

is it your creation or is it public i would really like to try it
ive tried everything on it even let run for 18h in a row
im up tu trying the pot on the mvp

yessssss! finally!!! 2c7 now open!!! thx DVD and all others!!!

heres my setup:old gateway p3 1g blue nexus diode modded pot 10k 25turns
and plugs to fit multimeter to be precise script RebelSerf102_Rev109_247Unlocker ps 9v 300ma

lowered delay to 130a and started high at 700ohm and lowered slowly and stopped at every rst response i had as i was getting real low i started going back up just a hair at every response cuz if u go too low the script fails so i kept going down and down and then at 3mins25sec delay 130e 55 was hit to my big suprise my heart stopped i think lol so many hours wasted and in 3 min 25 paff open!!!

i stopped and pluged multi meter and i was at 59.4ohm

glad if this helps i used to do this on rom10 with old t911 i figured what the heck!!
