Are atmega128's up..For basic???

Ha guys I need to know if atmegas128 are good for at least basic channels..( NEED CARTOON CHANNELS)...I kids are fighting over the TV.....

THEY DO NOT NEED PPV'S PORN MOVIE CHANNELS.......JUST CARTOON CHANNELS.....

What do I need to get it going....NEW TO ATMEGA'S...... What do I have to do for it to work on a 2700-4900 IRD too....?

There are other ways to do it but this is probably the easiest way: jtag your ird to no rsa public numbers and then use jeepers to program your 128 with satjammin 8.0.
If you don't want to jtag, you can use other utilites to make your atmega "private"

Ok I got it to read the programer/card, I have erased it 5 times....What now...I do have the orignal tsop for the 4900 Im going to use...Whats a pfg ?

Can i use box keys, r00 and s00 numbers from something else I have and then rejtag the IRd with that info too.

you need to write the public keys to that ird then use jeepers to write to the atmega .. I dont beleive you can use private keys ,, not recomended for a newbie, which it sounds like you may be .. no pun intended.

Non taking...I am a newbie to Atmegas....
I got the ATMEGA to see the IRD..... I can see the channel but just NO picture.....Black screen...I can see the guide just cant see whats playing on that channel.....BLACKOUT. I didn't change in jeepers...

Anyone?

I'm runnin Sat Jammin 8.0 in jeepers on my 128's and I have basic DN, the channels in your guide are the red? If they aren't you might have to let the card roll to the newest keys. Also try channel 105 channel should come in. If not you can try unplugging the IRD and let sit a couple of minutes then plug it back in again. This will reset the IRD. Sometimes it helps.

you get ppv on channel 5900 if you have sat 110 you will get about 5 ppv's

I did it in satjammin too ,(jeepers) My guide channels are NOT red..just no picture....Was I suppose to lchange BLACKOUT in jeepers to something, IT is at 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f 7f.etc..

All i did was jtag the ird with new numbers and matched them up to the ones In added in jeepers.....I did do it with new keys.........

I had this happen once to my 2700 with my 128 18 crystal. I had to leave the card in the IRD. Unplug the IRD wait plug it back in and let it find signal. Might have to do this a few times. Shouldn't have to do anything with the black out. Off to bed, I hope this works for ya. Good Luck.

I just did an upgrade to the IRD.....To see if that helps but still nothing. Im leaving it on to see what happens..I'm a newbie to this all...
So this is what I did so far...
Jtagged the IRd to the numbers I need. saved and wrote it...

In jeepers..

Eseared it 5 times....(ereased flash/eeprom...)
I Got and added new keys..

Key set to private keyset..
changed
IRD
Cam ID
BOX key
changed zip code and time zone

I didn't touch
tierset
porn
additional tiers
blackout


then I hit Write...
Sounds right.. ANYONE?

Try JTAGging your receiver with PUBLIC keys and select the NoRSA Dishnetwork keyset in Jeepers. Using private keys involves a Atmega Clone Utility goatfuck and since you're new to Atmegas, I'd leave that method for later.

You know how to add the keys in Jeepers, right? There's 4 boxes in which to enter the two 101 keys. First half of Key 86 in Key O box, second half of Key 86 in Key 1 box, first half of Key 96 in Aux 0 box, second half of Key 96 in Aux 1 box. Lots of people do this wrong and if the pfg you're using doesn't autoroll, you'll never get video.

Where do I get norsa tsop from..File section.?

Ok I just dl'ed PFG and jeepers file. and I dl'ed 3900-CLCA-P350NORSA pubilc...both from the file section here...

In the tsop file there are 2 files...one is 2kb and the other is 2,048kb which is what? I believe the 2,048 is for the flash chip right...and the other is for the eeprom?

Alright IRd is flashed with public numbers....

GOT IT GOING....I took about 10 minutes for the keys to roll but I have basic channels..GOOD.....

One more ? is it going to autoroll. or Do i have to redo it every time keys change....

Sorry, Eric. I've been asleep while you've been playing with your cards. :)

Glad you got it going, and YES to your key and TSOP file questions (obviously!). If you used the SatJammin 8.0 program, I think it does autoroll (not sure about that)....fortunately DN has been easy on the key changes as of late. If they do change keys, you can edit them right in the Jeepers program without having to completely rewrite your card.
