Viewsat Ultra 2000 USB?

Quick question guys, I have a viewsat Ultra 2000 and since the latest rounds of EMC's it apprears to be locked up like other post I have read, It apprears the way to fix it is to load the default factory info back to the unit and then it will free up to load the PMG file. My problem is I dont have a serial port on my computer, can the default factory info be loaded with the loader 1.1 program through the USB ports? If not can I get a USB to serial calble and do it that way? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes... U can use a USB to Serial adapter and just upload the last bin 14Dec and it will fix the box...

usb to serial works.. i've done it on my vS ultra and 2000. use loader 2
