Running xp pro hardware is detected but when I run software it say usb2.0 atmega not detected I have no problem with USB ports all working, is there anything else I can try, I tried other computers same problem. and yes i have 5 pin usb cable two of them. drivers were installed
Did you install the USB Atmega256 drivers? You are not using a USB hub right? If no then it is possible the card is defective, I am sorry. If you bought it from me please read www.bellexpress.vu/rmf.html (http://www.bellexpress.vu/rmf.html)

Even though it may look like like the USB driver files that come with the software are the same as windows stock drivers, they are not. You MUST install the USB atmega256 drivers that come with the software specifically.

Thanks mili for the quick response yes i had installed the drivers and now i tried to program on four desktops and 2 laptops no go. i can only assume the card is bad. and yes i did purchase from your site, again thank you for info.
Mess with it some more, ask some more questions or what ever for a couple days, and if we can't get it worked out, mili has a really good and reliable return policy. If it's the card and you got it less than 30 days ago you will get a free replacement.
With that said, have you read the sticky posts in the USB atmega256 forum? It's very likely you have a mini USB cable that is not compatable. You must have a 5 pin USB cable, and believe it or not, there are huge differences between USB cables. Not all 5 pin cables are created equal either. I posted the exact cable you need in one of those stickies.
