I have been testing with a coolsat for a few years and with all of the recent ecm's it doesn't look to good. My question is, should I go the rom 102 route which I have or the atmega 256 usb? Thanks for the advice in advance!

given those two choices, i would go with the usb 256

If you already have a cam set up a EMU using it as a aux cam. Just
as safe.

The usb 256 will likely be easier. Only time will tell which (emu w/aux or usb 256)
will be more reliable.

my money would be on the EMU.

But the atmega keeps comming back
every time making statments like that seem redundant.

I forgot that I also have a DP301.013 receiver that has never been in stream, it is still in the sealed box.
