Looks like Dish is streaming another emm$9F update. This is a mecm40 update. Do not apply to your image till the new key has come down and it can be decrypted and proven safe. I'm just posting this so you can get a head start when it becomes active and you go down. Here's the rom102 patch. Do not apply to anything but a rom102 at rev10C or rev28A

I'm not familiar with the keygrabber you're using but if it updates the 0106 keys, then that patch is not necessary.

Edit: Also you should have posted this elsewhere. Need to keep this topic on the latest EMM.

Sorry if this question is out of place, but it does concern the emm9f update for an aux'd 102 card. So this or any other emm9f update can be applied to the cor file for an aux because an aux'd card can't get hit/looped or altered in any way by dish. Is this correct? (I'm just about to try my emu w/ aux for the first time as soon as I finish with patching the cor, which does NOT get written to card.)

This patch is working flawlessly. All channels wide open. Patch it to your previously wokring bin and change the 106 key. I have been using patches since this shit started and touch wood, all is well so far.

Does it matter if you use a keychanger?... i've always removed the add/remove keys part of the patch because everytime i check the image in RomExplorer, i find another set of keys have been added... so i just manually change it.. then applied the patch, and wrote with nagramaster.. then tried again with nagraedit, i get 005 nag on premium channels. =\ what am i doing wrong? again.. this same bin was working last nite.

YEah it is safe... YAHOOOOOO....it worked for me. I think that the people who are still having problem are people who are using codespace blocker....that means they need to update their key in other to work......

The only thing i can thing of is these "Data types" ... is that seperate from the 06 keys alone? That's the only thing if anything thats not patched on my bin, since the !RemoveEqual doesn't remove the existing keys on my bin, how can I get around this?

Aceboogie, I don't understand. What blocker are you using? If you changed the password and it want open,try the default password for the blocker you are using. I had no problems applying this update. Tested it with Muah public, with the codespace public, and with my private blocker with no problems at all.

What happen next was that the tv just stayed black. So I tried to rewrite to the card and it did not unlock. I thought I did something wrong so I recreated it on my backup card, but this time I did not put it in the box, but tried to unlock after the card successfully was written.
Then I get

aceboogie559 - same thing happened to me using that blocker, i used rebelserv omniunlocker, and 3 cards fucked by that blocker popped in around 5 seconds... i suggest you use the codespace blocker.. and if you dont have private #, then you should by now =(

I'm not sure if your already realized this but what your post is showing to be the "12-20 EMM$9F patch" does NOT appear to be the same as smilingjack's 12-20 EMM$9F patch at the start of this thread.

if you already knew that then please forgive me.

Unfortunately I don't have a any suggestions for how to get your card to unlock..... Maybe someone with more knowledge about what you patched can help you.
