I already have my re-map locals setup on my private bin below channel 100. Now I want to get Charlotte, NC locals in the 8650 8662 channels (Their in my spot beam). I know I've done this before with MR Tierworks so I made a bin patch file:

But it does not work. Can anyone refresh my memory on how to do this. Did a search and came up empty.

Ok, I updated the tiers in Mr-Tierworks and it changed a bit, but still not working:

Do I need to include this?

make sure your time zone is correct is all I can think of, sometimes two sets of locals are a bitch, you may have to use a different proggy like romripper or dark angel to edit your bin for it to take effect

Use MR tierworks to add locals, then when booting if there is a valid tier, and they are obtainable, some will map as a second set along side your blackout byte enabled ones.

I actually get 3 sets, SOMETIMES, don't know why not always but sometimes I get 3 different cities all below ch 100.

You shouldn't have any trouble getting those channels in the 8000 range using MR-Tierworks if you are indeed in the spot beam.

Why are you making a patch? Just have MR-T modify the bin for you.

Texas Trophy, I don't know why I was trying to make a patch, I guess I just thought it would be easier. I've done it before with success. Anyways, I took your advice and re-did the tiers on my private bin and it now I got the channels I wanted. Thanks

When I modify bin for locals I only get a few of the ones I checked off and I get at least 12 other cities which are not in my spot beam. I can't gid rid of those channels using Mr. Tierworks or Dark angel. Wish I knew what to do. I use a 256 USB Atmega. Thanks
