usb 256 vs serial 256 atmega

I was looking on ebay and see they have atmega 256 for $35.00 not in usb but serial or parellel port connection question: is this the same functional card as the one sold here on milli? will it be wide open just like the usb 256 sold here? thanks for the info

no, only the usbatmega256 works. the other may only $35 but it is worth zero.

It may work one of these days but not right now

there is not going to be anymore updates for the legacy 256 cards unless humexico releases one and then somone copys it like before
