View Full Version : Enigma fix is released so are some FTA
After happysat.org people released the source code for the DVB cards the "sharks" suddenly are coming up with FTA fixes. No doubt they will all take credit and say the fix is the result of their hard and difficult work.
Sherbius of Enigma also released his fix, the difference is that the Enigmas don't seem to freeze like these new FTA fixes.

Charlie meanwhile rolling keys like mad, nto that many people notice as most everything autoroll. No dubt they will target autoroll ROM102 blockers next unless they do another timer ECM to send FTA to the pasture for a week again. In teh meanwhile the USBAtmega256 cards are freeze free and rolling the keys without a hitch. No need to brag about yoru FTAs how they work, I am sure you will have full use of them for the weekend. Maybe.

I am going to ask this, no matter how stupid it sounds. From your post, so you mean Mr S also uses this code???? I ask this since it has been weeks for an update from him, and he released a fix same time as the code was released. Is that what you meant, or was it towards the FTA coders???

O mili mili mili the source code would have been known any way. Hey it brought a card back up hehe enjoy your FTA and all card testing methods peaple.
Without a FTA coder we the comunity would not know how to patch these bin files to are units unless the source codes for the receiver are known until then yes thank you all FTA coders for there hard work to patch my FTA box so I dont.
Who knows what S is using. If he is then he is using it better than some FTA geeks whose boxes are still freezing.

Well, it isn't working for me...Can somebody help me with this? I used Dark Tier Gen to add tiers to the supplied enigma dish bin, wrote to the card three times and I can get the PPV and porn but only about half of 100 to 300. Most are green. I have cleaned and loaded the bin at least 50x and still no luck. Help!!!

Use the EnigmaEdit tiermaker. Somewhat of a hassle to use but it may very well eliminate your problem. It's what I use.

Maybe its your receiver that's losing the signal.

mili and crow 492 you guys are awsome i could read the posts from you two all day very good stuff for me who do you agree with both make good points buy the way these atmegas do seem to be prety good i am gonna grab a few from the store as they seem to be pretty easy to work i have tried to teach my wife the plastic stuff when i am away with the army but she likes the ease of fta gonna grab a few atmegas too though as they seem to be the card that is working the best next to plastic right now

You mean we where without tv? funny my plastic with blocker hasnt missed a beat since spring .....even took the updates . ohhh well . at any rate its all fun and ill still buy the next toy that comes out to see how it works.

The new FTA ECM released today was amazing wasn't it.
After a few hours of freezing, it locked out all over again on B3V.
Now I think it's time for me to get a step further into this and start to listen to Mili.
What hardware do you reccomend to use for testing? Both unit and card, which seems to be the most reliable?

Also on a side note, I have a fortek lifetime ultra, I need it flashed to Pansat 2700 but when I try to connect it to the USB-COM port I use for my viewsat it says connection failed. (I've tried two loaders and read three tutorials). PM me if you have any info.

ok first off its not down all you have to do is manualy enter your keys and turn off auto roll

Autoroll was not added to provider ID 901 enter keys in manualy and you will be good to go all Bev channels are up wide open.
New fixes will be out to fix this minor glitch.
Dishnet is rolling fine on FTA all channels up wide open.

confused here.....i changed the idea 96 key (801) on my stb and all ok....is that the same as pid 901 on some units or what.....
never mind......yes pid 901 is the key that changed....second set (96)......my stb labels them differently for some reason.......happy holidays to all

hehe yes back in the day my pansat said that too but now it has the 901 inted of it saying 801 for the provider ID its the same:)

Hardly even worth the effort. All thats going on here is that the signal integrity boys are taking a little break for a slice of turkey and a glass of wine. It is Christmas after all and everyone is going to be able to watch tv for a couple of days. Before you know it, there will be brand spanking new MECM's to turn all those FTA boxes into door stops with regard to Dish & Bev.
