Another NOOB could really use a hand

Hi guys I picked up 3 USB atmega 256's yesterday, at noon. I am still sitting at my computer.. got a
few hrs sleep. I have followed FUBRS Howto to a tee, but all I get is RED channels in the guide. I
am totally frustrated thus I am pleading for help.
I am testing a 6000 IRD Modded with Bev Public Info. Note: I also test plastic in this IRD using a
warspace bin and It works just fine.
This is what I am doing and I dont know what step I am missing
Downloaded Enigma 8.0 and grabbed the Bev Public Bin (EEPROM_ExpressVu.bn102)
Downloaded Installed and Opened DarkTierGen.exe
In the IRD INFO box:
I update the IRD info with 02AF04CA, the BoxKeys with FDBF2E56AFFA7264 and the CAM ID with
S0455884573.
In the Other Settings Box:
I change the timezone to E4-Mountain Standart Time
I dont touch the Remap locals because I am testing BEV and was told it wasnt necessary
I left the default blackout string alone its: 7F7F7F7F7F7F7F7F7F7F7F7F000000
I left the default Zip code its: 00000
I didnt touch the 3M presets, the default is blank. If I choose Bev 3M the program CRASHES so I
have no choice but to leave it blank. I dont know if this is good or bad or doesnt matter?
I put a check mark in the Write IRD info box and a check mark in the Write other settings box
Next I click on the Set PPV Tiers. This is where I get confused...
A pop up box appears with the Default PPV Hi: 99999 and default PPV Low:10000 and # PPV Tiers
default 0.
I didnt change anthing from the defaults and clicked on "Generate PPV String". A pop up appears and
says "String Generated will write when you patch bin etc".. I click "OK" and now the PPV Tiers box
shows 1. Next I clicked "Finish".
Now I click on the "SetExpireDate" button and change it for a month away ( Jan 23 2008)
I click on 23 in the calander and the calander closes.
I now click on "PatchTiers" and select the Enigma Public Bin which I downloaded earlier
"(EEPROM_ExpressVu.bn102)"
It all seems to work fine and prompts me to save the new file. I save it as
"New-EEPROM_ExpressVu.bn102"
So now I close the DarkAngel program and lauch USBAtmega256.exe
Under "System" I select BELL
Under "Model" I choose 6000
Click "DetectAVR" It comes back found
Click "EraseAVR" The erase completes successfully
Click "WriteAVR256" and it writes just fine
Next I click "WriteBinEeprom" select the "New-EEPROM_ExpressVu.bn102" and it writes just fine...
I pull the card, pop it into the IRD and I get NOTHING BUT RED channels in the guide.
I am so frustrated. I also tried on a 3100-010 using Private and a 2700 using public. I always get
the same result "RED Channels" in the guide. Please help, am I missing a step? Is there something
I need to do with the PPV hi and lo other than use the defaults?
STUMPED at this point could really use a hand

C7-I got same prob-only I get the guide download-and the info channels-but blank everything else? Don't feel bad-I've been at it for 4 days-lol! I think it has to do with wrong info at tiers? Only thing i did diff was went to N2Edit-cleaned card codespace 3X-then went to Dish 0106 key changer loaded , got, and saved bin. But DA says not valid eeprom- won't let me patch it ? Sorry-no help-but will yell at ya if I get it---MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I think I am as per above... DarkTierGen.exe was the file I downloaded.

Your write its a bitch I have been trying for countless hours...

Cant someone just post a good public bin that they allready have up and running. This is what I dont understand why must we all go through the same steps here when we are all using the same public info?

I work with Dish but you might want to try it this way, all I do is take the Eprom that comes with the USB 256 program and open it in Nagra Master, I just put the current keys in, my zip code, my time zone and my locals. then save the bin as you want to name it. I don't touch the tiers, My card is wide open I get everything, all PPV's all movie channels everything. If you have BEV use the Bev Eprom and try it. If you are using VISTA you may as well quit right now as I can not get any thing to work with Vista. I have two other computers with XP and only one works great. I feel sorry for some folks as they will never get the darn cards to work because of their OS.

When I go into the file download area it wont let me download anything.
I was going to pay the 25 bucks but I really dont want to give the personal information its asking me for in order to pay. Like my addy, phone, name , credit card. no way dude not comfortable with that. You should set up Pay pal or some other means

the VIP has a limit on it, if you pay you get 24/7 acess if you dont pay you get limited access. No worries about your personal info. I am not sure what all you have to give but it is safe with mili

OK i dont know what i am doing wrong but i cant seem to get anything going here....i have used the clean bin put in my info followed every step of fubar saved the new file and opened the new usb 3.06 program...detected the avr, erased the avr, then wrote avr and finally writebineeprom...after all is said and done when i click on read keys or ird/cam # is says all f's...why does it not keep all the info that i put into the darktier program???

Do you have to wait until it comes up? I have guide-but blacked out channels. PPV says purchased?

cyco, your not going to do any good till you get rid of those fffff's Thats a sure sign of failed programing.
Try a different computer,
try a different cable,
try to re-install drivers.
try to program it like 5 times in a row before reading it.
try putting keys in manually and click write
try putting ird# and cam id in manually and click write

ou812, are your keys corect?
is your box keys correct?
Do you have any tier erors? Like do you have a tier checked that is also in a package?

try to use a enigma bin and make you a new bin

fubr, i tried your bin, all black no video. I have a 301.013 with jtag, usb atmega256 have tried everything possible but still cant get video. Any ideas what im doing wrong? i do get video on dish home channel 100 but no video on any other channels?

Thanks to fubr....i have finally figured it all out!!!!!! Just to let anyone else know what i did.....i re-installed the darktier program re-installed the drivers for the usbatmega....used your clean BIN with all my info....changed the ird to HEX...added the keys manually as well as my ird/cam wrote bin 3x wrote keys 3x and wrote ird/cam info 3x........its alot but it worked!!!!!

I have the latest keys put into fubr's bin, with my ird # and nothing, the guide is all white, and i get the "free channels" as well as the preview of six channels on chan 100, but all the other channels are black. Anyone have any ideas suggestion, i have been trying to get any channel up for 4 days non stop:confused:

If am ready to throw the F**king thing thru the window..

I am using a 6000 and all channels are white in the guide except the HD channels there still RED. Still black screen on all channels. I get audio on the HD Pay per Views though... I dont see how Cyco... could possibly have used his own info with Fubrs new clean bin. Doesnt it have to have his own DT08 / RSA inf0?. I am trying fubrs with public info and I am wondering if its a box key problem.. I am putting these into darktier v6.0.1

Does the blackout string affect BEV could this be the problem. I tried the blackout string from my working warpace bn102 and it same results.. BLACK
