Gonna Try This Plastic Thing

Hey all... Merry belated Christmas & happy early New Year.... I've been using fta's for a few years.... I've had different receivers( Pansat 2300,2500,3000// coolsat 5000 and the viewsat platinum...).. Out of all my receivers I preferred the viewsat because there was always a fix right away & the epg is great and up to date... But these last few weeks i've been noticing that fta's aren't staying up too long.... As soon as a bin comes out they shoot it down in a matter of a day or two.. I've been reading that the way to go is plastic... I've never got into plastic because it seems like alot of work( i had plastic when dtv was up and a friend of mine use to program it for me)... But I think that i'm willing to invest in plastic... I know this is a great site for tech support and I think that with the support from you all this plastic thing shouldn't be that hard... I'm up for a challenge..
I have a d**h network echostar mpeg 2 receiver... I also have the blue card... I think that only the yellow card is working right now... The first thing I know that I have to purchase is a yellow card and a card reader, all from which I can get from milli...What is my next step???

You will need to j-tag the receiver - if you buy an opened card you can get by with just a loader but if not you will need an unlocker - from there you will need to go to the forums and read up on how to marry your card and receiver then how to load tiers and add a blocker - all the info is in the forums and the files are in the files section

You mean "ISO programmer" instead of "loader," right? A loader, with the correct file flashed to the eeprom, is an unlocker.
