Can the blue or white nexus unlocker function in an iso-programmer mode as well?

If not, is there a nexus or similar device that will work as both iso programmer and unlocker, with dip switch changes or something?

Yes the nexus will work to program your card, as long as the software you are using supports it. N2edit and NM both support that. You don't need to change the switches as far as I know. Some results, like Romcode programming have been less than optimal with a loader, but can be made to work.

I don't think that NagraEdit works with unlockers....the post above yours mentions N2Edit (which is a different program)...but I don't think N2Edit works with unlockers either.

NagraMaster works with unlocker/loaders if you have the specific flash in the loader.

But bear this in mind...I have heard of several people getting bad "writes" to cards and then the cards going "Unknown Provider" by using loaders as programmers.

It's always better to spend the extra $30-40 bucks and get an ISO reader/writer/programmer that is MEANT to write to the cards.

(My $.02)

I don't know about NagraEdit because I don't use it. I can say for sure that N2Edit works fine with unlockers.

You have to keep in mind that whether you us an unlocker or an ISO Programmer, if you do not have the application "tuned" to work properly with your device, you can get bad writes which can result in unknown provider among other things.

In N2Edit, as well as almost every other testing application, you can and should adjust your communications parameters such as baud rate, command delay, read byte delay, and so on. This even includes Winexplorer when you are trying to unlock a card. All these applications have settings that may or may not work properly if left to the defaults.
