Set your settings to roll after 005 when 100% safe is not working or all the time like me. Whenn 005 comes about get it to ch200 and wait 30 sec and go up to 201. Go back to 200 and if you got it in you have rolled. If not repeat the 30 sec on 200 and the rest. You will roll just leaving it on whatever channel but can take some time when this process works very quickly........

what happens if you are sort of watchin? gotta take a dump sometime, if you get the 005 nag and are not there to switch to 200 you risk the loop, correct? So I would assume that you use the only after 005 nag option if you are going to be there with remote in hand, otherwise, if you have to leave, set to 200 while you are gone.

It justs takes longer if you do not go to 200.No more risk. Been doing it this way for quite some time..

yup thats what he means when you get the 005 nag fallow scorts instruction to spped it up or be patient and they roll anyway

Every time you open and edit your card there is a risk of damage or looping it.

I was worried at first but asked RomCode and they said the code was solid and not to worry. That was a year and some change ago and I am not worried. It is up to the individual.
By the way please do not make this a "BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY THREAD" with 100% safe sort of posts.
This was to explain how to get Autoroll going on Romcode for those who want it and don't know how. I hope it helps those that had trouble before.

I wish there was an autoroll that worked....they are rolling the key's every 2 hours now...it's getting annoying..

Autoroll with the ROM102 card does work on the death wish setting every time without your knowledge that there was a key change.

no...I'm not that brave....lol.....I'm guessing that they just haven't got the autoroll to work on the 103's....hopefully they will soon.

If I can change the boxkeys in ROMCODE or change them some other way without ROMCODE overwriting them, then I will get a ROM102 and use it with my IRD which I know the boxkeys for.

No, I cant write to my IRD that is why I am asking about changing the boxkeys on the card in conjunction with ROMCODE software.

I would be GREATLY happy if someone can answer this question and I will be getting a ROM102 immedialty.

Get an IRD you can read from and write to. If you IRD does not support JKEYs then you need one that does. Mili has them in his store.

You actually cannot, coz I had same dilemma ( well simlar in nature ) - that the card had to be married before to the IRD

What you are looking for is reversal, ie., since romcode gives you a pvt bin - you want those box keys in that pvt bin to be your own IRD's right, that would be sweet but I am sure there are complications there

I believe for 0106, there has to be an update for romcode, its not a simple key change

No but they are very quick with the related data.bin file for it.

in 100% safe mode why does it say every great while card not authorized and then shows video again after a few minutes but there is no key change?
isn't this the 106? but when there is a key change I have to reprogram. just wondering, thanx in advance for any input

Recently I have seen a message saying there was a problem with my dish multi-switch when changing channels, but it stayed on less that 5 seconds!

don't know that one ...mine puts up the 005 message and after about 5 minutes werks....100% safe mode and there are no key rolls at the time, thought it was the 0106 roll....I am not really sure though. just would like to know cause other peeps asked and I at first said yes to rolls but now not sure ...I do not want to missinform anyone

That is most likely a hardware problem. It most likely is your switch. Do a few switch checks and put the sats on transponder with best signal and retry.

Bandit, Bigsticker....sounds to me like the sat input is going out.....have had many 301-10's and 2700's/2800's they start of doing it every now and again then more frequently until it finally goes....hope not the case but has happened to mines
