Atmega 256 question?

Can one use an atmega 256 usb file on an atmega 256 standard model?

And are there any files for the 256 non usb working?

The non usb will make a comeback so don't throw it away. usb is the way to go for now but nothing beats a real rom 102 with a good private blocker.:)
