It looks the same as RG6 connector? Equivalent? Just wonder if it can be used on common satellite coaxial cable.

get it at a discount store? might be a typo...
I got some, seems to work fine as RG6 end.

You have the right connector, just confused over the terms.

There is no such thing as an RG6 connector, RG6 is a cable type.

Those ends are called F connectors, F56 is meant for RG6 cable as opposed to F59 which would be meant for RG59 cabling.
