I want to acquire another newer 5th gen or 6th gen IRD. If I go to the US will I be able to get it or them across the border? will they confiscate it? Will they sell one to me without the cards ? Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated ? GTG.

Hey GtG,My sister in-law works for Canada Customs and she tells me that as long as the value is declared,and there are not a dozen of them(dealer).No problems getting them accross.Same goes if you ship via mail.Just need to know what it is and a value.

Another thing if you do buy something get the person or site to write Gift on it , that way you don't have to pay tax ...
