After a hell of a time!!!!
And lots of help from Skinerd!
I finally got a private set going with plastic. I gave up days ago with the usbATmega256.

I am now going thru every file that works and comparing to the ones that do not work. HAS TO BE A COMMON FACTOR to the ones that fail.

My question and thread topic is, has anyone had success swapping devices on same ird with private numbers.
NOT CEMU then plastic on public numbers!!!
I mean do you run private info, set up with GenDT08 and can take the cam out and put a syndrome, USBATmega256 in and it work?

DO you have problems after you get your private shit working?, do rev updates, keychanges ect mess you up.

I would like to see what you guys have found.....NOT WHAT YOU THINK maybe happened.
I would like to see proof.
I will continue to look into this and if I find anything worth posting I will post it.

Not sure what problems you're talking about fubr.? As long as you have a working bin, you should be able to get most every testing device working with no problems.

Edit: Of course I am not experienced with all testing devices. LOL

Well for starters I played hell for two days, trying to get a usb256 going in it.

Now I got plastic working fine and to be honest I donbt want to fuck it up by trying to stick my usb256 in it.

The shit about writing a "comlete" private bin on a usbatmega I am really starting to wonder about.
Not complaining yet, I am only saying it is not the same bin I write to a cam getting wrote to the usb atmega

You would think so wouldn't you? It is a fact (IMO) that this is not the case with the USB Atmega card anyway. It simply will not work with an SK setup alone. It requires a valid DT08 (0A datatype) to function. It does not run the actual card image, but parses it and runs what it thinks it needs from it. Or not as the case may be. I don't know why it was made this way, but there must be a good reason. Fab5 has proven well that he is no dummy that's for sure.

your best bet with the USB Atmega is to go with the public numbers and use the included BIN which gets almost all programming.

I se it as just cause you tell it to turn a 1 into a 0 and it does not think it needs it it will leave the 1's alone.

It is not writing everything you tell it to and I am sure there is a reason
