Hey. impulse. i downloaded the file, and unziped it. found i had to place the actual loader into the drivers file, before i could get it to run. i can read my atmeg128 but when i run the Wizard, it says local txt/ ppv strings etc Not found. can you let us into how to actualy set this up. also i wont get Keys.. tnx in advance TAF:rolleyes:

I have tried this program too and it loads fine but once it goes in the receiver all I get is smart card not inserted correctly..I have used Phoenix before with no problems..also why are the tier lists in the support from 10/30/2007 if this is a new program ?

I am using this file and all is 100% up guys. If you are getting the nag errors try opening jeepers and doing alt chip erase and erase flash 3x then open phoenix and follow the usual steps. This is what I have been doing and all is fine.

I will put together an All in One and have it upped by noon EST, for some reason I think there is a file missing, but you should just be able to drop the files in over your version 1.1.8 phoenix loader and go.

No fake here. Its works but needs some tweaking I think. I think fuse setting will fix freezing issue for me.. but CNIC not sure what that is.

Did you make sure to switch ISO Speed to 4.50mhz (just before programming where you select speeds.)? And 4.5 is different than 4.50.

working 100% as of 1/12/08 @ 9:30. Also on a side note, 4.5 in the iso speed worked for me on the first run !!!

My old friend Mr. Atmega just dropped by to say that he is alive and kicking, the rumour of his demise have been just that. He told me to open up and make sure that any crystal is 4.50 and to be speedy about it 18 mhz seem good too. People Playing Volleyball ( PPV )should be sure to be between 0010000 and 0099999 players. be sure to be clean ( erase alternatively and 3 times normally etc , holy jeepers )in your life, being a virgin is good too but not really needed. Watch out because its a little freezey to some people.

Hi guys. seems some of you are able to run the new Phoenix atmega? hoiwever im still in the dark here. i can get the program to sort of run... reads card . enters program mode,detects card tells me its 128 atmeg.exits mode Thank You. RUN WIZARD. THEN SAYS LOCALS TEXT NOT FOUND? ERROR READING TIERX?then another screen comes up to change date time PPV etc. so What do i do now. any help guys?? please.. taf:mad:

Couple of things you can try for fuse bit problems;

1/ Try alternate chip errase in Jeepers 3 times (may or may not work)
2/ Use Wicked 4.2 and virginize card then go to phoenix and program. Don't forget to set your clock speed to 4.50

Keep getting card not inserted properly. deleted card 15 times in jeepers then programed with phoenix. Same thing. Tryied programming numerous times and still same thing, does anyone have any ideas

I had the same problem until I remembered to change the iso clock speed to 4.50.

here's how I have done without flaw on 3 different mega128,

1, open jeeperz and "erase flash/Eeprom" 8 times,
2, with jeeperz still open do a "alt. chip erase" 8 times,
3, close jeeperz,
4 open phoenix and click on "run wizard",
then just walk thru the wizard selecting the programs you want (or just check ALL the pkgs. that have an asterisk next to them) and select your locals city,
ppv's High "0099999",
ppv's low "0010000",
I found that "4.50" workz best for me,
leave keys all 0's, it WILL AR,
hit "write" and wait for it to do it's thing,
also I DO NOT VIRGINIZE in phoenix,

that's what has worked for me flawlessly, I HOPE it helps ANY of you that are having problems :),....

its working great had to do it a few times kept saying card was invalid then i tried it again but this time i deleted the old pheonix fixes and started over and it worked had to change the freq to 4.5 thats it

I have atmega128 with 3900 reciever using tomico keyset. I have loaded the card but I only get black screen i have tried with current keys and also have left it with all 0's so it can autoroll. but still get only black screen on all channels. I have also virginized card through phoneix and have erased through jeepers before loading. Any idea's guys.

I have also read that "legacy" ird's are having some problem with this file,

also you might want to try doing the erasing in jeepers like I stated and go right to phoenix "run wizard" and DO NOT virginize, just run the wizard and select your pkg's., clock at 4.50, and write card,....

When i ran Phoneix the first time i enter 4.5 instead of 4.50. When i try to run Phoneix again the change it to 4.50 i got the error writing default fuses failed

Thx I had Jeepers 2.1.1 which doesn't have that option, I just downloaded 2.1.2 and it worked. I am now watching TV. BTW I had two atmegas here that were considered toast and locked up according to several posters that I now have working. Never give up!

its pretty hard to f*k up an atmega. You can alt chip erase, erase flash/eeprom, you can virginize it, hell if you lock it something is wrong.
ALWAYS go to Jeepers & erase it a few times first before anything else

Guy I did that to 2 atmegas this morning and now got them working. I downloaded a file that worked in jeepers to "unlock' them, WickedBUZZ_5[1].1c_BV.pfg.

Oh and Guy, the reason I was getting that was because after I erased in Jeepers my fuse settings would change to FF A1 89 FF and I would change them back to FF AF 89 FF and Phoenix would give me the error "writing default fuses failed Lofuse verify failed".

Tried this several times so I decided to just erase and alt erase in Jeepers and leave the fuse settings at FF A1 89 FF and program with Pheonix. I then checked the fuse settings with Jeepers after Phoenix and found that they were reset to FF AF 89 FF!!! Left all zeros in the keys and it autorolled after a few minutes I noticed a tv channel was on.

My problem now is that I am only getting odd channels. I think I must need to tweak something in Phoenix?

me too, seems to be running fine the last hour or so, did give me some problems on a 301 and 510, does freeze a little, but hell it's a $20 atmega. I'll take it!

I have been exp same on my 510 and 301. I have it less in the 0-299 channels. Prem and PPV do it almost every 20 min. Have played with fuses, and now trying different clock speeds. If i find something that works better for 5xx i will post it.

Sorry for two in a row.But although I get this working,it's blacked out after about an hour twice so far. Thought it was a key change but it wasn't. ALL I had to do was re-inset the card and tv came back.
