jtag question

haven't had tv since 12-23-07 i have dish rom 102 have limited experience since i just started but have programer and many programs i think i know what i need to do but am a little comfused i realy want to learn more i don't have a jtag is there any thing i can do to fix with out one i can get some chan but no hbo,ppv

sounds like you just need to find a updated rom 102 bin, if the receiver/ card worked before together no need to jtag. You can open the rom 102 image in gendt08_sk 3.3 and save the keyfile so you will always be able to marry any rom 102 image to your receiver.

thanks i just got gendt08_sk 3.3 i will get familliar with it tonight does anyone know what updated bin would be the best
