BEV is wide open using old fixes, Dishnet's latest jewel held FTA back for a full 2 hours. Nothing to report, fixes coming out for all platforms as I type. USBAtmega256 software is promised either late tonight or tomorrow too. The providers have totally given up and putting all their hopes in swapping one disastrous card for another.

The SOxx is still uncompromised so N2 aint dead yet. Also don't wish to sound critical but this could be a General Custer type scenario and the N2 'Black Sunday' could be the SuperBowl. :-(

the so series and the newer icams(206) have the same flaws as all nag 2's........ nothing to worry on our side of the board. if i was charlie tho, id be fucking pissed :) now the real question is how soon the info needed for most of the folks here is when it will become public. If i was some of ya, i would find some underground homes to ensure your tv stays on.... And im not talking about pay vip like rtx, thats not underground, its just "pay to see the forum".

a rom 206 spoof may work for awhile but will probally be worked around like rom 10to102 was eventually. but a spoof is a good start for a hack. I have heard rumors of the 206 hack

trust me, the private sites talk about adding people, but without building trust with people, you wont get invited. your common lurker wont get invited since no trust can be seen from their lack of posts. learn, ask questions, help others....... you will meet the right person by doing that....

when someone you KNOW (that has the knowhow to either have done it or has the connections that has done it) has shown you something and told you what it is, you DONT question it. Its a respect thing. You never bite/question the hand that feeds you.

As for the fleabay thing for cards, it will be in your best interest to pick up some s02's, however I dont know anything about rom revisions to give advice to which ones to pick up. You wont find many since it has always been the people who can afford to sit on a few hundred for a long time buying em all, waiting for the public outbreak.

In all honesty, if things go the way of the n2 swap, you will be waiting for fta to crack it and release code before s02 becomes public. I am no "mili" in terms of predicting the future, but fta has big money behind cracking it so they can continue sales, so i am guessing you wont be in the dark for very long...

I would love to see a better unlocker script for the 389 as well, since i have a 322 sitting here waiting...... I know there is something out there for it, but it has worse odds than the first 10b script, so i am waiting for a revised version :)

They have no choice to swap all the cams,they can't even shut down fta units,or atmegas,etc.I don't think they can do it.they should of done it by now,and if the S01 cards get hacked publicly,it could change the decision of when to swap the 102 cams.

Dish has 3 new cards available to them! one of them is in manufacturing now! I am not for sure what the numbers are on these cards or if they will all be used. Older receivers will be replaced and the new cards are supposed to be coming out the end of 2008. From what my source tells me. Every card will be replaced leaving all there older cards being used obsolete. Dish took a huge hit on replacing these receivers somewhere around 30 million dollars from what there budget shows Now im not sure if this was one run of receivers or just the start. the cards cost them around 4 million. and not a sole has got one yet. There plan is this they will finish with the 09 keys coming soon and all the keys will be alternated at whatever interval they want from every hour to every 5 days if they like. Unless we have true emulation FTA WILL BE DEAD and we dont! The way it was explained to me was DISH is screwed on the fact that some of the receivers will not support an ASIC (Applied Specific Intergrated Circuit). This is bad! Older receivers will get a newer card to start out with and then these customers will receive a deduction on their bill to upgrade to a new receiver to help DISH recover the costs. There was even talk of giving upgraded subscriptions to these customers who receive new receivers as a bonus. My source is reliable and I have no reason not to believe this person. Especially where this person works. HEHE!

This is a rumor dont know if it is true But ALOT of money is being put into a new bird. from what I have been told this bird will replace one birds already in use to handle the HD load. I have been tracking this financial trail and have found 10 investors so far adding up to about 45 million so far of the 80 or so million they need to do this. This bird is supposed to be up the end of 2010 or after. Thats all I know!

I am not sure! I just dont know! DTV uses many diffrent cards as well who knows maybe someone more TECH could explain this for U. However a full card swap will happen that means ALL cards being used now. Will no longer work anymore even the S0 cards.

mili i have all my trust in you but the things people are saying makes it hard but i still beleive in your word you never have gone back on it the way you put it that some providers are bailing is that a porblem you said boards are down and you cant get signal someone says its bullshit i think its the truth i have 3 going on 4 256 and when i wake up tomorrow morning i really expect to see a fix for dish net not just bell all my faith is in your word im a beleiver not a doubter you have no reason to doubt you youve always been honest

Pretty sure Mili doesnt intend for products he backs to go wrong, but i have to say over the years ive been coming to mili's to read updates and such, Mili has the absolute worst luck when it comes to backing new products. Its almost like a death sentence for Mili to back a product. Going by past record, USB256 will have problems forever and FTA will be problem free until there is a card swap.
