Is there anything on the 128 I'm just getting locals. Can't understand what the difference in the 256 and 128 is that can't be modified! Not a lot of difference in the cards looks like just some propaganda to sell more cards now that everyone has the 128's. We see this time and time again as soon as everyone gets one type of card they switch to another! As soon as I get a 256 they will come out with the 512! Anyway are the 128's dead as far as the programmers go?

NO nothing out for Atmega128, PATIENCE!
Same old tired conspiracy rant about the card makers.
And no the 128 is not almost like the USB256 that FAB5 is supporting.
Very, very different cards with math coprocessor added extra memory etc on the new USB256.
You should just thank your lucky stars there are coders like the Phoenix group still trying to be creative with the 128.
P.S. long time 128 owner and very pleased with the up time over the past SEVERAL years!

Yeah, and they're user friendly, unlike the usb's which are a huge pain in the ass for locals. Mr. tierworks doesn't work and the other pgms are a bitch and iffy. Love my 128's!!

As of 2:04 PM EST Atmega 128 is wide open with freezing on BEV as far as i have read DISH is still down but this is hear say as i don't test DISH and as far as a time range for down time i could not give you an accurate time frame i just ask for people to have patience spend some time with family or watch a movie let the professionals work.
Just my 2 cents

......not wide open. I think you can still get locals on it though. You may want to consider anther means of testing or be prepared to wait for possibly a long time.

Whatz Cable? Oh yeah your talking about drilling out filters and puting a straight through cable inside then siliconing the ends to look like facotry then replacing them so the cable peeps don't know also don't forget to put their hanging tag back so they won't climb poll. Just kidding eh!

Locals aren't a pain in the ass on the USB. You just have to add them individually instead of the one tier. Not a big deal. Same goes for the test tier used for baseball. Just load tier for 5801 and bingo, u have all the test tiers. A little testing and you de-bunk a lot of the rant you get in some of these threads.

Thanks for all the resoponses.
I've got a few yellow cards 102 but I think they're locked. Does anyone know what I need to get them up and running? My old lady is at me to get her shows back.
Thanks

Go do some reading in the 102 section.

I have and will, but if there is someone in the same situation and knows what I need in order to get the yellow cards up it would save a lot of time. I have a nexus iso loader but I believe that I need an unlocker too. I bought the Enigma card but practically days after receiving the package it went for a shit too. Just like the "Magic" card before that. I should know better than to buy all that crap only to have it pile up like my credit card statements.

Yup.You need a loader(unlocker) and depending on the revision on the cards a script to open it. All revisions can now be open, but there is always the chance of looping your card(s).
Get an unlocker with the Schottkey diode.Should cost from $60-$100. Then do some reading in the glitching section.

A friend of mine purchased a 256 card and found out later it was the same as an atmega 128. What is the difference between a 256 and a usb 256? I think this was a rotten trick to sell a substitute card which looks like a usb 256.

Isn't the loader and unlocker two different things? Like you said I'll have to do some more reading.
Thanks,

An unlocker iz a modded loader. You can either mod one yourself or buy one that's already been modded frum one of tha many dealerz selling them, like Mili.

Been away so just saw your reply today. Before I start looking in all directions, do you know if there's a fix for atmega, enigma, or yellow cards yet.
I've got six of everything and nothing works.
Thanks again,

Can't speak for the Enigma, but plastic and Atmega128 have been up for months (other than a few hours here & there for MECMs).
ROM102's can be unlocked to the current (subscription REV of 10C) with a glitcher/loader/unlocker- all the same thing) and RomMaster 1C software.
Atmega128's are using PAL (Phoenix Atmega Loader) and running fine.

I'll look for the Phoenix Atmega Loader since I've always had more luck with atmega. Although the ROM 102's are handy as well.
Thanks, I might have to get back to you if I need some help if you don't mind though.
