Hey guys, I have a question. I have a DVR510 @ P402 with the latest romcode on card. Yesterday, I lost everything from 105 up, for the exception of some channels in the 200's and all PPV's work. My locals do not exist anymore and all the premiums, ie. 105 and up are green in my guide. I have written clean images back to the card and checked the tier expiry dates and everything looks good. I have also downloaded fresh copies of romcode multiple times and rebooted the PC. I have ran out of ideas to try. Also, I tried the same card in a 301.013 with a completely different image and still have the same trouble using romcode. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks

try writing your saved image back to your card with N2edit and then reprogram and see if that will correct the problem

Mfden.. That is bizarre and I hope the fresh write did the trick.. I did not realize there was a 4.02 but there is. Did you find that 4.02 was safe and working before and how did it differ from 4.01...Good Luck

I'm not sure what is diff between 401 and 402.. I went from the 369 straight to 402 because I thought it was safe, I didn't know the 401 was out... I'm not sure if its because of the P402 or not. All I know is the receiver updated and it worked great like always until 1/19, then I've been having this problem. And the strange thing is, it doesn't matter what image I write to the card or what receiver I use it in, the same channels come up missing and green on the guide. I just can't figure it out. I"ve tried writing and rewriting the clean card image and it doesn't phase it a bit. Now, would it be possible to flash my receiver with the P369 flash if I can find it, without losing my recordings on the HD? Thanks fellas for the input!!!

You did not say what provider you were using, but if it's BEV there is an update today to fix your problem.

If it is the same on more than one receiver it is the card. I have noticed as of late it takes me longer to get video on my 510.In other words it takes 10 sec when I switch channels to get video but I think it is the HardDrive. I have a good tool for defragging your bin,I have a feeling that might do the trick if all else fails.....Let me know...

Thanks scort for all your help. After trying every possible solution, I finally decided to program the card with a different computer using the same mikobu. To my suprise, I had no problems getting the channels I was missing before. I cannot explain why I couldn't get it using my PC. I downloaded romcode till I was sick of downloading it, updating it, writing clean images. It is a mystery to me why my PC is screwing the programming up. My laptop did it with ease. So, thanks a million for the help, hopefully my experience will be helpful to someone someday...

I heard of this once before with someone who had a corrupt version of NetFramework..At that time it was net framework 2 but now the program wants ver 3. Check you windows update and see. Your welcome and it's my pleasure..

make sure you have the correct date on your computer. I too was getting channels in green in the guide and noted that my computer date was 2 days ahead. Once I applied the correct date and reprogrammed the cam, everything is fine. Hope this helps.

Something must be corrupt somewhere because I checked the date and its all good. I will mess with it later, as long as it keeps working on my laptop I'm not worried. I sincerely appreciate all the input though. It's what keeps me coming back to mili's for info!
