Hi. I've got this bell card a friend gave me with a dish 102 rev. 103 image on it. Using N2edit, the atr and dish provider come up fine. But when it comes to reading the card, I get "failed to read card". I may be forgetting something, but wouldn't this card be unlocked already?
Thanks for any help.

sounds like the card might be password locked, see if your friend still has the bin he wrote to the card and check for the password in the eeprom . If he doesnt have it try some of the public passwords that are on the go

Might also try using NagraEdit5.2. Sometimes the card has a different intercept on it and works with one program and not the other.

Tried nagraedit5.2 as well and no go.
What are some of the passwords I could try besides deadbeef..?
Thanks for your quick help!

Can this password problem be remedied with glitching using the right script for this rev?

Most common would probably be AABBCCDDAABBCCDD, but could be anything. If it is still reading rev103, it would surprise me that there is a blocker on it. Unless it is a REALLY old rev103 blocker, it would be spoofed to rev10B or C. Rev103 should be easy to reglitch using the rev103/105 unlocker.

Thanks Dave411.
Is it possible that this card is a rom10, not 102? The owner of the card said he thought it was a 10. Would N2edit and nagraedit make such an error? The number on it is 288-11.

Uh, yes. I never took that into account. Yeah, you can spoof a rom10 to rom102 and that is what you have. You can try to unlock it with NagraEdit4, not the newer programs, with the same old passwords.

Damn! I was hoping it was a 102. Well, another scraper.
Thanks Dave411.
