receiver not authorized

just got receiver with rom 102, unlocked it with sucess, cleaned it with rc and programmed with 3m/dish tiers and put it in stream, after doing 5 out of 5 tests it comes up with an error that this receiver is not yet authorized.

i know about that, we are all waiting, but this is different error. RECEIVER NOT YET AUTHORIZED has nothing to do with the RC update, it is like if this receiver came with virgin eeprom and rom

i am just trying to see if there is an easy way to fix this other than having to jtag the receiver and whole 9 yards. Also this ird needs an update, but can't take one unless this stupid error goes away of not authorized receiver.

I think the only way to get it to update is to jtag it, I have a 301 that was like this and i had to jtag it erased certain sectors restreamed and it did the trick.

No, if the card and receiver are really married NOTHING needs done to the receiver except let it update. Just turn it off and let it stream, should update fine.

Receiver not yet authorized means there is no usable program on the card, or card is virgin and not really married..

Read and save card image, check it with GenDT08 and see if it has correct receiver info in it, if not it ain't married.
