Switching Requirements - Need Advise

I sub to B3\/. Installed is a standard dish, 2 LNB's, and a switch that the provider has utilized. Into the switch is 4 wires from the lnb's (dual obviously) and outgoing is 1 line to our only tv. I would like to hook up a fta box as well in the same room as the subbed box. How do I go about switching from a sub to a fta reciever? My fta reciever seems to have a hard time "communicating" with the switch the provider has installed.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
