Hi everyone,

Just read the jtag-ing page and wanted to know if I buy the Jtag from here do I need to use a soldering gun or i can just hold the pins in contact?

Thanks for your help.

Depends on the receiver that you are trying to jtag.

Some 301-010s have a hole in the bottom for jtagging, if yours does, then you prolly can jtag w/o soldering.

dude, seriously, learn how to solder just alittle bit. it will save you HOURS of frustration when you slip with the pogo pin jtag. I have 2 pogo pin jtags I coudl just throw away because soldering them in is MUCH better

Just hold the pins in place for now and later on solder a JTAG to your 301.010.
