DP 311 from where to start? Need help.

Hi there every one!
I am very new to this, and I do not know from where to start with my DP 311. I read a lot and I get complectly lost.
Can some one please tell me, where I get instructions from start to finish?
I am ok with electronics, and I can spend time to make it work, I can do step by step instractions, but I have to understand those steps.

First thing is to check the chip rom and revision. If it has a 102 rev 28x then you have something to work with, if it is a rom 206, shelve it.

If it is rom 102 then decide how you are going to glitch it, either on board or pull it and mount on a BGA board. Because nothing is going to happen until that chip opens.

This is the second day in a row someone has started a thread about how to get a 311 up and running. Doesn't anyone know how to use the search button anymore. The are plenty of how to's on this subject, you just have to do some reading, and searching.

Well get that done, glitch it open, if it opens successfully that we can go from there. Next step, if it opens is to wire card slot.

OR throw the 311 away, (I do) and use the rom 102 in a normal receiver.

Buy the most expensive items Milli has to offer. After all, you are wasting his valuable bandwidth and diskspace posting a thread that has been asked and answered a dozen times before. I think you owe him at least that much.

Or you can save Milli and yourself some bucks and use the SEARCH feature.

My nexus blue has been good to me so far. mine neede a few upgrade, better trim pot, and a mod to keep from looping maybe the new ones already have them. ask

There is a Nexus that can be an unlocker and ISO programmer.
Is that realy works, or I have to buy an unlocker and a programmer?

you can buy just the white nexus that mili sells in his store. that will act as both a programmer and unlocker. I use mine for both, I do have a iso as well though.

Back to the subject. after unlocking reading and merried the card to the new receiver. whats next. :D

well now you need to apply tiers and a blocker, look around for a blocker i don't use public so i don't know what is current. also some AIO files out there, it is a patch or a image that has blocker and tiers already on it, You need to be sure to get a icam blocker if you are gonna use that icam on the 311 (you didn't say if they were married our not or if you married it to another receiver)

If your receiver is at Rev 281, are you sure that it has been subscribed before?? If it was never sub'd, it doesn't have SK's and cannot be used for "testing".

If it was a virgin unit, throw away the box, and use the BGA mounted card in a different receiver.

Is it unlockable?

I am thinking remove the IC from the receiver, put it on BGA, wire the receiver's card reader, and use it as ROM102 with its receiver.

what he means is for unlocking.....

putting chip on a bga makes working with it a lot easier.

After trying unlocking 102 rev287 for few days with RM1a, I decide to switch to WinEx and Rebelserf 102_rev109_247 unlocker script.
Now I am getting: no ATR
My settings was
Powersinc, diode mod, 4619, 9v, 500ma, 200ohm, 1 and 7 on
WinEx settings: from the script.
Is my card fixable or not?

check the chip with your iso...if you get no atr then move on..chip is looped

Possable chip came loose - I squeeze with my fingers and check with n2edit at same time

Had this happen to me before......
