Adding locals to a cor

I know this has been covered but don't have much time anymore with working 12 hours a day. I just want to add my locals to a cor. I took a good cor that I know is working and used MrTiers made a bin batch and wrote it to the cor, but it doesn't fire up. Do I still have to erase all tiers and then start.
