eric. did you try the jumper mod? when you jumped the two points on the card, and inserted the card in the loader, jeeperxs still said "FAILED to Enter PRogram Mode" when you did erase or check fuse settings?

Yep i try it all....I still get failed to enter program mode...I can do alt chip erase and it goes through but . It goes through when the card is out to...

I've tried everything so far....Still get failed to enter program mode....

Alternate chip erase will even work without the card. You have to find out how to jumper your atmega to be able to erase it (not the alt erase). Search these forums - there should be pictures how to do it. Your atmega is not dead yet.

YEP ITS WORKING FOR ME. One funny thing is i hit get keys to get latest keys but was getting black screen. I then copied pfg as is without changing keys and its up for last 12 hrs...Thanks Phoenix team
