Cartoon channel? Channels in the 168? to 180 range are mstly cartoons too.

Boomerang on channel 175 features many old cartoons.

For example, the Flintstones is on every night; recentlythe episodes have been from the early years, before the famous theme song era.

The station also carries interesting episodes of Magilla Gorilla, Jonny Quest, MGM cartoons (i.e. Droopy Dog and Screwy Squirrel), Quick Draw McGraw and Top Cat.

However, to answer your question directly, I don't think Boomerang owns the licensing rights to the Alvin and the Chipmunk early cartoons.

Also, if you are only running the atmega 128, it is most likely that all these cartoons, and channels, will disappear soon, alas. ;)

hmmm not sure what you mean argonne....

for example, the Flintstones episode last night was the one where Fred, Barney, Wilma and Betty go to visit Fred's old friend Smoothy at his hotel which is near a nice beach somewhere. They get there and everything seems really good—i.e. it is all free—but of course that is too good to be true.

But before they realize this Fred dives into the water (as the tide is going out) and hits his head hard on the rocks, and has to be revived by Barney.
And then Fred and Barney go fishing but end up catching a sea serpent, after a previous discussion of whether or not sea serpents even exist.

The real drama, though, occurs when Smoothy has to get rid of all his staff and no one is left to do the work at the hotel!
So Fred, Barney, Wilma and Betty agree to do it, at Fred's insistence, because after all Smoothy is Fred's old friend. But in reality Smoothy is conning Fred, which they all realize when a convention of the Loyal Order of Water Buffaloes shows up at the hotel!

Note: I bellieve that this is the first appearance of the Loyal Order of Water Buffaloes!!

So then Fred, Barney, Betty and Wilma realize that something bad is up and they bail and go back to XXXXXXX.
And that i think was it.
