HI,
I have a rom 102 rev 248 card running BEV. I program it using romcode. I tried to write a bin to it in N2Edit. i got the card unlocked and wrote the bin file sucessfully. when i put the card in my receiver (2700) it gave me a message saying "The SmartCard currently inserted is not valid for use with this reciever" I put the card in the programmer again and tried to clean the card in romcode, it said "Card is Dealer or Stream Locked". I have tried many things but i cant get it unlocked.

did the bin you wrote to the card have a password, what blocker did you use on this card. you will need to password unlock before using it with romcode. click reset atr and make sure your provider is still correct if not follow dvd insytructions

there was a live update today, make sure you have the latest update and get keys and save before programming

I tried that and now the card doesnt work at all....it shows the atr, the provider is blank, the card type says ROM102 Åûf† and every thing else is blank. and it says Error: Timeout while reading from CommPort when i try to program it or clean it

that sounds like your app is connecting to your iso very well. clean your card with pencil eraser and try again. If it comes up and shows unknown provider, click clean and after it cleans, write your original image back to yur card with N2edit and then reprogram

Hey bro, are you using XP or Vista? Are you hooked up to a dedicated serial port? I've had cards on the same account do the same thing if I use a computer using a different OS. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer but I've been there, just thought I'd try to help.
