Convert dish to bev on 2700 receiver

I have 2700 receiver with rom 102 card currently working with dish. I want to convert to bev. I also have small switch in back of the receiver. So Do I need to do a jtag? or Can someone tell me how would I convert?

yes you need to jtag the 2700 very easy unit to do just follow the how to jtag at the top of this page
