Europen digital satellite testing

Can anyone shed some light on digital satellite testing in Europe, forum locations and similarities between N Americal and European digital?

In the past years, d2mac encryption was used for the bird's signals and that has now gone to almost all digital.

Any inputs and info greatly appreciated.
