new to emulation

Ive been doin alot of reading, trying to soak up all the info(which there is alot of).
I have a spare pc and an avr that i will be testing.

What i need is a list in order of the things I need to do or learn.

you need a dish
an IRD that can be J-Tagged
J-Tag
a CEMU board
a computer
and a program(s) which can be gotten here

i hope this is not too stupid a question smilingjack. but i had a emulation setup with the old h card. will that equipment work on d**h?? do i still need a rom 102 auxed card? i don't want to waste your time, any help much app.

You may have to program that AVR with jeepers if it has the atmel8515 chip and that chip requires a flash designed for that chip. (most of emu systems now use the atmel2313 chip and flash with fbprg16)

ya if it dont have the 8515 or a 2313 its the old h card emu board witch can be used for parts lol

I am running the HU boot strap card for it changed to CEMU
I used it for Magic to save the card when we had some many changers too
May as well get something out of it for $ 125

thank for all the advice, i got a couple of bins full of ird's , cards. cables etc. will dig trough and look for a old bootstrap
