Is it possible to do some emuing with a 2313 4pc chip? I've tried it with the one chip schematic flashed it with ds:D h 1 chip, no dice unfortunaltely. Am I just wasting mt time or has anyone tried, such a feat.:o

the 4pc is only 4 mhz in speed, whereas the 10pc is 10 mhz...the 4 may be too slow for our needs. add a max232 to it and try it as a 2 chip. Better anyway.

it will work, going to be overclocked as the port runs just over 4MHz. If you have thermal paste and a lil heatsink throw that on top of it, not totally necessary.. If you notice any lockups or freezing get a -10pc + chip.

The -PI chips will tolerate more heat than the -PC chips (industrial, commercial) and speed makes heat. 10 mhz sounds better than 4 mhz though.

PS I've always used the -10PI chips and never had one go bad or not work.
