anyone have it going on D!sh? I am getting the damn 005 again. I just rebuilt my COR and got back up this morning. Dropped the new file over the old one, and I am getting 005, hopefully i don't need to mess with it again.
005 just means keys haven't rolled yet. Give it a minute.

Its always a good idea to click on Capital "C" to store your Cor file when you are about to shut ST19 down or change a file. That way when you restart it will have the correct keys if they have not changed since you turned it off.

didn't know about the 'C". But in the time i was waiting for a reply and making dinner it just popped on. Sweet. EMU rocks.

Correct. Another way is to hit Q. This saves the .cor file back to the disk, then shuts down st19.

Now I get it! I can see where the confusion from a couple of different threads you posted in. Cemu 2 chip is simply a flash for the atmel on an emu interface SJ. All the interface does is relay the I/O from your serial port to the Cardslot in a form that the cardslot can use, as the seriall I/O and Cardslot run at different frequencies. These flashes are NOT emulators and the interface can be used with lots of different emu programs, as well as stream loggers, etc... This is why sometimes you think CEMU is up, because you think that the flash is an emu. Those flashes almost never need to be changed. And many ST-19/Cemu flashes are interchangable, and usually the are only updated to show a different cam rev on your screen, nothing more..
I hope this clears up the confusion SJ...

I can see why you might think this because Mili sells complete emus on a chip like atmega 256, enigma, magic, etc. St-19 and cemu run their code on the PC, not on an arm chip ir 256 atmega, etc.

Or, you can hit "W" to enable writes.

PGM has provided more viable code for a longer time (years) than any other. Say thanks by sending a donation. Without generous people like him, there would be a lot less TV for my family.

...clockspeed...aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!You troll! What does /w(show EEPROM writes) have to do with saving .cor?!? My previous post was to bring to plps attention that Q will not save your .cor unless you already had /o in the command start line.

thats not true. I only have /m /s /t /a and when I exit with Q everything is saved back to the .cor. I know this b/c if not, it would take a while to roll the 9F patch and video comes on instantly.

I hope this clears of some confusion.
I running a home built - 2 chip CEMU designed by seaboard18
flashed with atmel 10bar.hex
.
I don't know if any other flash will run them ? I just know I run them all the time before I post them, I have been running this (PGM) program, since the fireball program went down when the 106 keys and new MAP came up
is it st19 and has a cor, but it runs
I prefer 1.3.42ry, but I run anything that works (when it is down)
I don't care what the sell here, and it got nothing to do with my Post

Wonder why the /o? When I invoke O while it's running it toggles Logging. Anyway the /w will do nothing to your .cor.

I think the confusion is that most would call it a ( 2 chip EMU ) or also called a ( Max/Mel EMU ) hope this helps.

I'm sorry, I thought that pressing "W" with st19 running enabled/disabled the eeprom writes.

I believe that the -o switch is to specify a different than default file name to save the core as.

You actually do not need any type of 1 chip or two chip (2313/8515/max/mel/etc)emu board ...or... flash to run either cemu or st19 (or wintoad/dostoad/javaemu, etc). You can wire the receiver directly to a serial card in your computer, provided you have changed the crystal on it to make the serial frequency compatible.

Thought you could Quit the program properly using Q without the /o switch if you didn't want the .cor updated.

That has been on my to do list for awhile now. Will report back.

...clockspeed...HHmmm...maybe I missed this. Are you saying that hitting "W" will cause all .cor changes to dynamically write to the .cor in real time. That would be great! I wonder because /switches can act differently then running commands on the fly.

Ok this thread is getting way too confusing
If you want the cor to be written with updates from the stream automatically (without exiting with Q, pressing W etc), what command line do you use?
-t -o -w?
