I want to use romcode on my other computer, but it does not have a comm port it only has a printer port which is LPT1. I have a 25-9 pin adapter and I want to know if i can change romcodes settings somehow, to let me use LPT1.
Thanks

Some report problems programing with Vista, but I would suggest you save yourself the trouble of trying to use the LTP1 and just get a USB ISO programmer.

There have been many problems though with Vista doing the cards and from what I've seen it is hit or miss as to weather Vista will work for you.
No one has been able to pin down or post why their version works or does not work.
The USB ISO wll always be useful anyway so what have you got to loose? You can also find a ton of computers w/XP for under $100.00 delivered.

I use an ISO USB programmer with Vista and have NEVER had a problem!:)

That is great for you, but there are many more posts asking how to get Vista to work than success stories like yours.
If someone had a real solution or a way to tell how to get Vista to work all the time it would be a whole other story.

Did you download and install the correct drivers which are in the file section here and elsewhere?
