I was given a atmega 128 card. Does it take a special programmer or does a regular grogrammer work to program it?

Slide programmers are nice, as they seem to work with older pin style and newer pinless atmegas. 128 and 256 alike. Do not try to use an ISO programmer.
Good Luck...enigma

Hello Ice9393.
This is my very first post at this site, therfore, I do not know how to post files for you. However, I have great news for you. I have created a very simple Programmer at a very economical price. You need a DB25 and 3 100 Omh Resistors at 1/2 watt or close to that!. I have a programmer diagram that I created and also atmega 128 picture with detailed info showing connections (where to connect DB25 wires) Somebody gave me that picture at a another site and it works. GREAT!. If you still need your programmer let me know. I will do some reading to find out on how to properly post files here.
