510 freeze !!

i have a weird problem with my 510
after got the unit up and running on bev public numbers hdd marryed i had s/w E552...i erased sa52(U7) to update but it wont do nothing after i erased 54 too still nothing...after i rebooted and when the aquiring signal dialog came up after the downloading the program guide came up,i waited a while but nothing after i rebooted and the remote was useless even the buttons on the ird were too at the same time the green light went out but ird started normal
the hdd made a strange noise like it was stuck and it keeps making the same noise over and over after around 5 min the ird reboots and starts all over again with no ligth
anybody have an ideea whats going on? i tryed original tsop but still no light

I never to any sector erase to try and update, IMHO it is just asking for problems.
The flashes change with every update, so what worked once may not work next time, not worth it to me.

after i loaded original tsop i let it rest for couple of hours after i gave it a try an the green light popped up but the hdd is making some strange noise and after a while it reboots...il try to find now the problem with the hdd

There is a hard drive re-initialization process, that might help.
