Cemu2.07d
Cemu2.07d
This version has several features added for the sole purpose of running using a RAMdrive instead of a normal floppy bootdisk.
Added cemu.conf options:
# floppy 0 means the running dishbin EEPROM and EEPxx_102 will save to working path.
# floppy 1 means cemu will force the path to save above bins to the floppy disk.
# Setting floppy 1 enables you to run from RAMdrive or Hard Drive, and save the
# stream-updated bins on a removeable disk for review while cemu is still running.
# Note: to stream-update your dishbin EEPROM, you MUST USE NOSAVE 0.
floppy 1
Added keyboard commands:
Usage w/W - NOSAVE Toggle Nosave for dishbin EEPROM Writing
Usage f/F - FLOPPY Toggle Floppy for forcing A: file saves
Usage y/Y - KEYS Save current key files to floppy disk
The recommended cemu.conf settings for this version when using a RAMdrive are:
nosave 0
bootdisk 1
floppy 1
Using these settings, you can startup cemu, and when the keys roll and the EEPROM updates take place, you can
- save your EEP102 file (EEP1_102 or EEP8_102) using the "v" keyboard command and cemu will first backup your
original on the floppy to ".BAK" and then write the current running EEPxx_102 to the floppy. Using this process, you can "stream-update" and save your 102 EEPROM much the same as the "CORFILE" using ST19XL.
- save your DISHBIN file (dish.bin or bev.bin) using the "e" keyboard command and cemu will first backup your
original on the floppy to ".BAK" and then write the current running DISHBIN to the floppy.
- save your .KEY files using the "y" keyboard command and cemu will copy all .KEY files from the RAMdrive
to the floppy.
***** Note: depending upon the speed of your system, this process might make you receive the "Smartcard Not
Inserted Correctly" error nag or desub in the guide, since it ties up the program processing to perform the copy.
You might want to try using local channel OR change to channel 101 before starting this process. If you do
experience on-screen nag or desub, you can simply remove and re-insert your emu wedge, and cemu will detect
the reset and automatically restart the program without the need for power anything down. *****
Happy Testing!
