I haven't programmed a 102 in a long time. I have been using st19 and just purchased romcode. The 102 I have has perkeys on it so I know I need to rename my public cor file and write it to 102 my card in order to have public numbers. Cor files don't have blockers on them do they? I see there is a space in romcode for an unlock code, do I need to enter one? Once romcode is on my card, how do I get it off?

1. make sure that when you rename your cor that you open the image and clean the codespace back to rev 103 before you write it to your card.
2.RomCode has its own password that it puts on your card unless you have one you wlould like to use. I suggest to let romcode provide the password.
3. once you have registered your card with the cam signature, click on settings and choose your timezone and remap city. nexst go to the tier editor and choose your tiers. A note, when aqdding locals, the chicagp part 1 and denver part 2 are both on 119/110 without a spotbeam so make sure you choose them to get more locals.
4. Program card puts tiers and blocker on card........Clean card takesw blocker off andf cleanes codespace back to rev 103.

good luck

Thanks for the informative reply. In step 1. what do you mean clean the codespace on the image to rev103?

when you use n2edit to write your cor file, it is at rev 10c, to be able to get back into your card it needs to be rev 103 which is what it was cleaned to when it was first unlocked. If you open the renamed cor file it will be at rev10c and cleaning the codespace resets card back to rev103. If you write the image with only renaming it, it will be streamlocked and have to be glitched open.

He is so patient! Can't they just let RC clean it back?

I may be wrong, but if he wrote a 102 rev10c image to his card I would think it would surely be locked.
Also, im not for sure, but i dont think RC will accept anything but rev 103 or it will say dealer or streamlocked. I may be wrong, but if he has N2edit open and writing an image to his card, he ought to do the onestep clean at this time to be sure.

I did like you said and it worked, maybe there is a faster way but I would rather be safe then sorry. I already lost 3 CAMS and its a painful feeling. LOL Thanks again!

I realize you are using public numbers, but I would still make a backup copy of the card the next time that you have to program in case it goes to unknown provider and it will save you alot of headache.

Glad you got it going
