I have an Armulator B-2 switchless that only accepts the RC_1 firmware. it does not work with the RC_2 firmware. Is there a difference between the firmwares? why wouldn't my Armulator work with both firmwares?

I believe in the RC_2 firmware there is some internal validation checking, perhaps serial numbers. Don't quote me on that since it's a fair guess.
And Team Armulator has stated they will support the older versions as well as thier new Armulators.
Not to worry.

Hello,
I have been following the emulators for a while now, and have decided to give the machine meaning computer -> ird emulators a try, and was wondering where to snag an armulator since that seems to be the most mentioned device here, without anywhere to purchase them listed.

storm3, the armulator isnt really all that supported. the most common IRD--> computer hardware is the max/mel circuit, with st19 or cemu as software. milli sells them for ~$50, but you can build your own or find them elsewhere for cheaper.

the arm is very well supported and is working as i type this since there is new firmware out for the friday ecm, as far as the RC_2 do not bother with it, use which ever firmware does not have the 2 in the title since you have the older version

Say what? Team Armulator are as on it as any of the firmware guys are, Fab5, PGM and yes Sherb (among others). I own all three devices and am satisfied with thier efforts.
I haven't emu'd yet but may soon. And mili's the place to get one for sure.

sorry guys, I didnt mean so much its not supported just that in this section of the forum everything is more centered on the buffered max/mel circuits. no offense meant,

they are slow, but their shit works pretty good once its out. My arm rarely freezes, and runs like a 102 for the most part. its worth the wait when it comes out

Anyone who bashes the Arm must have an agenda. Quality product. I'd rather wait a couple of days than have some rushed fix that freezes and is nothing but frustration.
Right now nothing really freezes. Every emu is smooth as silk.
