I have a Dish Rom102 that gone Wacko and has began to Freeze sometimes 5-10-20-30 Min Apart for about 10 Sec. It's only one card. I don't know what's wrong. I have two other cards and they are fine.
Can someone help me with this as I have already searched and found nothing. Maybe the card is marked in the OTP area? The problem started when appling the New 2/6 MECM update.
I used it on 301-13 & 301-10 and 2700 and same thing. I don't believe it's a IRD Firmware problem.

I had a similar problem about a week ago. I cleaned card back to rev103 then wiped tiers and defragged the image and then re-did the image with new tiers. Then I wrote a virgin image to the card followed by the cleaned, defragged and newly tierd image with blocker, patches, etc. That solved my problem card. Solid as a rock ever since. Good luck.

I already put on the new Virgin Rom102 Rev103 image but I did not clean the card. I would think its the same but it did nothing. Thanks I will try that on the week end when I have a chance.
Good thing it worked for you as I was getting worried that I never saw the same thing being posted.

Mine would work perfectly, and then just freeze up for no apparent reason. I thought maybe there was a key change in progress or something similar. The freezing would last about a minute and then start working. Would happen about three or four time a night. The method I used apparently fixed the problem, because I don't have it anymore. In my opinion, writing back the cleaned and defraged image probably solved the problem. The virgin image may or may not have had an effect. Good luck with your card.
