I am trying to flash my loader but I keep getting the "cannot open dynamic driver" error on my new computer that has VISTA on it. It flashes fine on my other computer that has XP on it. Is there a way to make it work?
Thanks

I tried that but still get the "cannot open dynamic driver". Does your computer have the com port on the mother board? Im trying to use a new computer that I had to install a PCI Serial port card on.

Did your computer come with a comm port or did you have to add one on the pci slot?

I added one on the PCI slot ( the PCI card I installed supports Vista). I flashed my unlocker with RSX1 using my older computer that has XP and then hooked it back up to my new computer that has Vista then opened up RM1 unlocker and it recognized my unlocker and I was able to reset atr and got a good atr reading. So it seems that the serial port card will allow me to use the newer computer. I just cant seem to flash my unlocker on the new computer that has Vista on it.

The reason it does not work is because of the address of the comm port. Xpatmel does not reconize that address. I have the same problem. I am not sure how to change the address in xpatmel. You can prove this by looking at your comm port address. It will be totaly out of range from a regular comm port that come already on a computer.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? It is driving me nuts swapping computers to flash my loader.

Stick with XP?
I bought 10 Toshiba laptops with Vista Premium and they all came with a note the Blutooth would not work and use the MS Bluetooth drivers which did not work either.
I was going to MS school for Vista and they could not make it work either. That was just the beginning of the problems.
I sent the laptops back and Tiger Direct exchanged them for the same with XP.
MS canceled the school. They may start the school again now that the SP has been released, but I think I'll wait until we get MS Windows 7.
Just me of course.
